Richard's mission is to entertain and provide a family friendly program which will make toes tap and memories gear up as he includes a lot of the old standards he grew up with or played on the radio to complement the original songs he has recorded on two albums. He truly welcomes audience participation and encourages folks to join him if he sings a favorite they enjoy.
He also incorporates a washtub bass in his show and has fun with audience members who volunteer to play with anticipation of "winning a prize", which is usually one of his CDs. As Richard says, "I sing a little Elvis, a little Hank, and a little folk along with my original songs!" He can play an hour, two hours, or whatever the show calls for - as long as he doesn't go past bedtime!
